Walden FitCo will be hosting a free nutrition class with Hillary Ervin. As many of you know, working out and exercising is only one part of the equation when it comes to a healthy lifestyle and reaching your goals; the other half is your diet. Take advantage of this free class to start learning more!
Hillary Erivin (Rizor) is a registered dietitian/nutritionist and ASCM certified, personal trainer. She has been coaching and training for over 7 years and has experience working with over 1000 people of all shapes, sizes, and goals. Hillary is passionate about teaching others about nutrition and how to make nutrition choices that they truly feel good about. Through education, others can work towards their goals no matter if they are weight loss, building muscles, improving workouts, and more. She also focuses on helping others cultivate a positive relationship with food and their bodies so they can eat without guilt and exercise without feeling they need to “burn off calories.”
Registration is not required for this, but please email waldenfitco@gmail.com to let us know if you plan on attending so we can plan accordingly for the number of people showing up.

July 30, 2022 will be a full day at the gym, see the list of events below.
10:30-12:00 Open house and registration for the first annual Walden Fitco Strongman/Strongwoman Competition. Even if you aren’t interested in competing, please come in and take a look at the gym.
12:00-12:30 Weigh-in for anyone interested in a 60 day weight loss competition
12:30-2:00 (or whenever finished) Strongman/Strongwoman competition (details below)
2:00 (or whenever the competition is done) .05K (165ft) Race from the Gym to the Stockman’s Bar. Enjoy half price appetizers and a drink after a fun day of competing.
The Strongman/Strongwoman event will be done as a men’s division and women’s division; a further breakdown of divisions will be created depending on registrants. The categories for the competition will be 1 rep max for: Bench Press, Squat, Deadlift where 2 points will be awarded to the winner of each category, followed by max reps for: Bench Press, Squat, Deadlift, push-ups, pull-ups, and planks (timed) where 1 point will be awarded to the winner of each category. Whoever has the most points in each division will be the winner and will receive a 2022 Walden FitCo Strongman or Srongwoman t-shirt. Winners of each category will be displayed on the wall in the gym for year ‘round bragging rights. The winner of the weight loss competition will receive a 2022 Walden FitCo Biggest Loser t-shirt.
Entry into the competition is free for all current gym members. Non-members are welcome to participate but will need to pay the $10 single day entry fee and sign liability waivers.
